What to expect from a sleep consultation.
During your initial consultation, your Pelvic Health Osteopath will take a detailed case history of your condition as well as any other conditions you wish to share. They will take into consideration past and present conditions/injuries as well as your physical and mental health in order to create a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
Evaluation and treatment consist of external gentle techniques in and around the pelvic region. Your evaluation may include an internal assessment of the pelvic floor muscles which could be completed vaginally (females) or rectally (males & females). Your osteopath will discuss this option and receive your consent before initiating this exam.
About Belinda - Sleep Consultant

Originally from Austria, I trained at the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in the UK where I obtained my Master of Osteopathy.
During my studies I volunteered at the ESO’s women’s health clinic where I developed a special interest in women's health – including pregnancy and post-partum care. I completed a variety of post-graduate courses, with a special focus on visceral (organ) manipulation and the effects of organs on the musculoskeletal system. Jaw problems, neck pain, and headaches are also fields of great interest. I firmly believe in finding the source of the pain rather than just treating the symptoms in order to achieve long-lasting results.
I enjoy treating a wide range of people, using a variety of techniques from gentle fascial release, cranial and visceral techniques, to structural adjustments in order to facilitate healing.

In my spare time I follow my biggest passion – hiking – with the determination to climb every mountain between Milford and Wanaka. On quieter days I practice yoga, mindfulness and meditation.
